EDS-518E – Series
The Moxa EDS-518E Series is a compact 18-port Layer 2 managed Ethernet switch for redundant industrial network backbones.
4 Gigabit combo ports plus 14 Fast Ethernet ports
Copper and fiber port combinations, RJ45 or SFP
Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain under 20 ms, RSTP/STP, MSTP
RADIUS, TACACS+, IEEE 802.1X, HTTPS, SSH and IEC 62443 security
EtherNet/IP, PROFINET and Modbus TCP for device monitoring
Operating temperature -40 to 75 °C, 9.6–60 VDC input
ATEX, Class I Division 2, DNV, IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613
Replaces EDS-516A and EDS-518A
Moxa recommends the EDS-518E as the replacement for the EDS-516A and EDS-518A – last order date 30 June 2027.
