Potentiometric position sensors convert a linear position or an angle into a proportional electrical signal – a simple, robust and cost-effective way to measure position. SCN supplies linear and rotary potentiometers from Opkon: linear potentiometers in many series and stroke lengths (including LPC, LPS, SLPC, LMT and RTM), potentiometers for mounting inside hydraulic cylinders (RHTF/RHTP), rotary potentiometers (RTP/RTPM, RPF28, RPW F32), the non-contact magnetic rotary sensor MRPF28, the DRTL with CANopen and OP-SC signal converters. They are used in machine building, industrial automation, hydraulic cylinders and mobile machinery.
