The Leach EPM-112 is a 28 Vdc dual-channel solid state control unit that powers and monitors windshield heating in small jets and helicopters.
Two independent channels, 1.4 kW and 50 A each
Two temperature sensor inputs per channel
ARINC 429 status reporting with continuous BIT
Over-current, open circuit and over-temperature protection
Supply 16 to 32 Vdc per MIL-STD-704E
-55 to +85 °C, 80 x 96 x 43 mm
Tested to DO-160, MTBF over 40,000 h
