Thermostats
Thermostats protect equipment against overheating by opening or closing a circuit when a specific temperature is reached. SCN supplies bimetal thermostats from Sensata KLIXON, including the compact 3BT and 4BT series with a diameter of 7 mm, as well as thermostats in probe versions for mounting close to the heat source. Typical applications are overheating protection of motors, transformers, heating elements, battery packs and electronics. Our engineers help you choose the right switching temperature, contact function (normally open or normally closed), current rating and mounting for your application.
