The Airpax™ 5003 series is a RoHS-compliant, single-pole, single-throw bimetal thermostat with distinct snap action that provides
accurate and reliable sensing and switching in one and the same component. The 5003 series is ideal for applications where space is limited.
Total depth without protruding terminals is only 0.250 inch.
The switch unit itself is actuated by a bimetal disc with distinct, reinforced snap action, known for its reliable
repeatability. The design of the switch unit provides excellent resistance to shock and vibration. The thermal response is fast thanks to
low mass.
The 5003 series offers many terminal and mounting options that can be adapted to the application’s needs. For applications with high humidity and contaminated
atmospheres, the component is sealed with a non-volatile resin. Close-differential variants are ideal for control, while
standard-differential variants can be used as high or low temperature limiters. The 5003 series thermostat is cЯUus certified.
