«SLIO CPU 015 er en rask EtherCAT-CPU fra VIPA. Den har en innebygd EtherCAT-kontroller og en egen Ethernet-port.»
Den har et innebygd minne på 256 kB, som kan utvides til 512 kB. Doble PG/OP-porter (RJ45-kontakt) og MPI er standard. CPU 015 kan også konfigureres som Profibus-master eller Profibus-slave med en spesiell FSC (Feature Sets Code) på et SD-kort. Den kan også konfigureres som Modbus-master eller Modbus-slave. EtherCAT-innstillingene konfigureres enkelt i EtherCAT Manager fra VIPA.
