”SLIO CPU 015 är en snabb EtherCAT-CPU från VIPA. Den har en inbyggd EtherCAT-styrenhet och en separat Ethernet-port.
Den har ett inbyggt minne på 256 kB, som kan utökas till 512 kB. Dubbla PG/OP-portar (RJ45-switch) och MPI ingår som standard. CPU 015 kan även konfigureras som Profibus-master eller Profibus-slav med en speciell FSC (Feature Sets Code) på ett SD-kort. Den kan också konfigureras som Modbus-master eller Modbus-slav. EtherCAT-inställningarna görs enkelt i EtherCAT Manager från VIPA.
