SIM100 MOD is an active insulation monitoring device from Sensata for high-voltage battery systems in electric and hybrid vehicles.
Monitors isolation resistance between HV system and chassis
Works with an active, varying or disconnected battery
Detects resistive leakage and capacitively stored energy
Detects insulation changes in less than 5 s
Measuring range -1500 V to +1500 V, accuracy ±5 %
Supply voltage 5–30 VDC, -40 °C to +125 °C
CAN interface, leakage resistance modelled per ISO6469-1
