SIM100 MLP Active Insulation Monitoring Device
The Sensata SIM100 MLP is an active insulation monitoring device for high-voltage EV and HEV batteries, operating even with the battery disconnected.
Continuously monitors isolation resistance between IT system and chassis
Detects resistive leakage and capacitively stored energy
Measuring range -1100 V to +1100 V, accuracy ±5%
Initialises in under 6 s, detects changes within 5 s
CAN interface and 5–30 VDC supply voltage
Temperature range -40 °C to +125 °C
Reports isolation resistance in Ω/V per ISO6469-1 and FMVSS §571.305
