Ved en driftstemperatur på -20 °C til +60 °C og 0 til 300 omdrejninger pr. minut bør man ved valget af sleberingens ydre konstruktion og de indre konstruktionsmaterialer først og fremmest tage højde for materialets styrke, varmebestandighed og slidstyrke.
Hætten/endestykket/bagstykket er fremstillet af en aluminiumslegering.
Det indvendige leje er fremstillet af lejestål, der opfylder den internationale standard, for at sikre den korrekte driftstemperatur.
