The Gigavac GX52 is a revolutionary contactor that is based on EPIC™ technology (Extended Performance Impervious Ceramics). The contactor can handle voltages from 24V to 750V both AC and DC and currents up to 2000A.

The contactor housing manage 150°C without melting or discoloring. It is the same technology that previously only has been used in more expensive products for the aerospace industry.

The GX52 is hermetically sealed and meets the demands for UL1604 class I, II and III for use in hazardous environments. The conctactor has IP67 for temporary submersion in water for 30 minutes, SAE J1171 for external spark protection and ISO8846 for protection against sparks in explosive gases.

The GX52 has built in coil suppression and all mounting details are in stainless steel to guarantee many years of operation without corrosion, regardless of the environment.
