This is a revolutionary contactor from Gigavac. GX54 is based on EPIC™ technology (Extended Performance Impervious Ceramics) and handles voltages from 12V to 800V both AC and DC and currents up to 2000A.

The housing withstands 150°C without risking to melt or discolor, which is the same technology that previously only has been used in more expensive products for the aerospace industry.

The GX54 is hermetically sealed and fulfill the demands for UL1604 class I, II and III for use in dangerous environments. The IP67 protection enables temporary immersion in water for 30 minutes. Moreover, SAE J1171 for external spark protection and ISO8846 for protection against sparks in explosive gases.

The GX54 has built in coil suppression and all mounting details are in stainless steel and guarantees several years of operation without corrosion, regardless of the environment.
