VIPA CPU 314ST on CPU-yksikkö, jossa on sisäänrakennetut I/O-liitännät, Profibus-isäntä sekä PG/OP-tiedonsiirto Ethernet-portin kautta. VIPA CPU 314ST:ssä on 8 digitaalista tuloa ja 8 digitaalista lähtöä, 4 analogista tuloa ja 2 analogista lähtöä sekä Pt100-tulo.
Lisäksi siinä on sisäänrakennettu 512 kB:n työmuisti, joka on laajennettavissa 2 MB:iin, ja se on ohjelmoitavissa Simatic Manager- ja TIA Portal -ohjelmistoilla. Etuliittimet sisältyvät kompaktien CPU-yksiköiden hintaan.
