The TCF-90 is a compact media converter that carries RS-232 signals over optical fibre, protecting serial links from ground loops and EMI.
Up to 5 km multi-mode or 40 km single-mode
ST fibre connector and DB9 female RS-232 port
Plastic IP30 housing for 0 to 60°C
Full-duplex link between two RS-232 devices
Power from the serial port or 5 to 12 VDC
Baudrates from 300 bps to 115.2 kbps
UL 60950-1 safety approved
