CANtouch is a mobile measuring instrument for CAN-based bus systems.

The further development of the CAN-Bus Tester 2 is battery-powered and equipped with a touchscreen. The intuitive user interface allows comprehensive measurements to be carried out in the shortest possible time. Results can be archived for documentation or later analysis and processed further on a PC.

The physical layer measurements have been extended with direct determination of potential differences between bus nodes (common mode/ground shift).

With the online trigger you can monitor the bus for individual physical limit values, track problems over time and make faults visible in the oscillogram.

The protocol monitor is used to send, receive, decode and log messages.

Device philosophy
CANtouch is a battery-powered handheld diagnostic instrument for physical and logical analysis of the CAN bus. The modern touch control provides intuitive and efficient operation without an additional computer.

As a further development of the CAN-Bus Tester 2, it not only has the same functions but also new, complementary measurements. A simpler evaluation method with traffic-light colours and smileys makes your work easier through a quick assessment of the measurements.

Thanks to the option of future updates, you are prepared for further development. New functions can be unlocked by purchasing additional licences. As part of product maintenance, we also provide new software that all CANtouch owners can download free of charge. Many new functions are made available at no cost.

The integrated battery easily powers the device for a full, intensive day of measurement. It is monitored by a dedicated charge controller that calculates the remaining operating time and remaining charge. And if that is not enough – the device charges to 80% in just one hour, whether you are measuring at the same time or not.

The rubberised housing of extruded aluminium not only gives an impression of high quality but is also extremely robust.
