En pneumatisk glidering er en mekanisme, der anvendes til at overføre gas (under tryk eller vakuum) fra et stationært indløb til et roterende udløb, hvorved gasforbindelsen opretholdes og isoleres.
Pneumatiske sleberinge er konstrueret til at modstå et bredt spektrum af temperaturer og tryk under en lang række forhold og i forskellige miljøer.
Derudover kan roterende samlinger sagtens rumme flere kanaler og håndtere forskellige typer gasser samtidigt.
