Den robusta mobila datorn i S430T2-serien drivs av en TI Cortex A8-processor, har 512 MB RAM-minne och 4 GB eMMC-lagringsutrymme som kan utökas med ett micro-SD-kort. Enheten levereras med antingen operativsystemet Windows Embedded Handheld 6.5 Professional eller Windows Embedded Compact 6.0. En valfri 1D/2D-streckkodsläsare och HF/LF-RFID finns tillgängliga för datainsamling ute på fältet.
Den har en inbyggd kamera på 3 megapixel, GPS samt WiFi- och Bluetooth-anslutning. RFID-läsare, 3G och 1D/2D-streckkodsläsare finns som tillval. Den finns med operativsystemen Android, Windows Embedded eller Windows CE.
S430T har en 4,3-tums ljusstark skärm med resistiv pekskärm, ett användarvänligt funktionsknappsats och en micro SD-kortplats för datalagring.
Enheten är certifierad enligt MIL-STD-810F och IP67 för damm- och vattenskydd och tål användning i temperaturer mellan -20 °C och 60 °C.
