The Ixxat D-Sub 9 connector with a switchable termination
resistor offers a straightforward solution to connect CAN
interfaces with a D-Sub 9 interface to CAN networks.
The connector provides flexible and quick termination to any
high-speed CAN device. With the terminating resistor switched
on, it can be used to terminate the bus at the end node. With
the terminating resistor switched off and a looped cable,
participants can be easily integrated into the bus, whereby the
stub line is kept to a minimum. The plug also offers the option of
connecting two cables simultaneously. It can be positioned both
at the end of the network or within to connect additional
devices.
This connector is ideally suited for interfaces like the Ixxat USBto-
CAN, facilitating seamless data exchange in commissioning,
diagnosis, or maintenance applications.
