The Klixon® KX series hermetically sealed sine switch is a precision switch.

It is designed for use in the aerospace industry and other applications where it is essential that it is free from external environmental conditions.

The KX series switches are sealed and housed in a one-piece steel enclosure designed to withstand extremely low or high ambient pressures.
A true hermetic seal is achieved with a metal wave diaphragm at the operating lever.

The operating lever is wedged to keep the arm in line and to prevent damage to the diaphragm.

The switching element is the versatile Klixon® sine switch. This simple, one-piece element eliminates high-friction edges and joints. The sine switch is firmly supported at both ends and carefully preloaded, giving it outstanding resistance to shock and vibration.
