Den bevegelige kontakten overfører strømføring fra den ene faste kontakten til den andre når spolen aktiveres eller deaktiveres. Det oppstår da spenningsisolering mellom den motsatte faste kontakten og den bevegelige kontakten.
I likhet med våre andre høyspenningsreléer tilbyr GIGAVAC flere utførelser av vakuum- og gassfylte høyspenningsreléer. Vakuum og gass som dielektrikum gir hver sine unike fordeler, avhengig av bruksområdet.
G9-kontakter med høy holdbarhet forbedrer bryterkapasiteten ved belastning.
