Innodisk DDR5 8000 RDIMM: more memory bandwidth for edge AI

Innodisk’s new industrial DDR5 8000 RDIMM runs at 8000 MT/s, 11% faster than the previous generation – built for edge AI systems and servers where memory bandwidth is the bottleneck.

Faster registered memory for AI workloads

The DDR5 8000 RDIMM extends Innodisk’s industrial DDR5 range for compute-heavy systems. The higher data rate gets AI models and large data sets to the processor faster, and the module is designed for long service in demanding industrial environments.

  • 8000 MT/s – 11.1% more bandwidth than the previous DDR5 generation
  • 16 to 64 GB per module with registered ECC for cleaner signals and error correction
  • TVS diodes and eFuse protection against voltage spikes and abnormal power conditions
  • 30 µin gold-plated contacts and anti-sulfuration protection for durable, corrosion-resistant connections

Typical applications are edge AI servers, generative AI and large language models running on-premise, digital twins and telehealth – as well as enterprise servers being upgraded for heavier workloads. In the first quarter of 2027, Innodisk will add CUDIMM, CSODIMM, ECC CUDIMM and ECC CSODIMM modules at 8000 MT/s.

Delivered ready to run by SCN

When you buy an industrial computer from SCN, we can fit the memory together with SSDs and expansion cards, set up the BIOS and run a burn-in test before delivery, so the system arrives ready to install. Our engineers help you choose the right module for your platform, and our DDR5 range already includes Innodisk wide-temperature RDIMMs rated −40 to 95 °C.
