The Airpax™ 5011 series thermostat is designed to meet strict requirements for shock and vibration resistance and is a RoHS-compliant, hermetically sealed unit with distinct
snap action, single-pole and single-throw. It is normally supplied with a grounded case; an additional
terminal can be provided on the case for a separate ground wire, or as an isolated component when the unit is isolated from ground.
The 5011 series can be used for temperature warning or temperature protection. The calibration is factory set and tamper-proof. In an abnormal
condition, the 5011 trips and controls a warning lamp or an alarm. Typical applications are protection of circuit boards,
bearing mounts, air- or water-cooled motors and gearboxes. A special enclosure for special mounting is available and
includes a threaded brass plug for sensing in liquids, an aluminium adapter for bolt mounting and an insulated base with
leads or terminals. It can also be fitted with an adapter and spring clip for mounting on pipes with an outer diameter from 3/8” to 1”.
