The TransIO A52 and A53 are RS-232 to RS-422/485 converters that extend serial transmission distance and add multidrop networking to RS-232 devices.
Converts RS-232 to RS-422 or RS-485
RS-485 multidrop with up to 32 nodes
Automatic data direction control and baudrate detection
A53 adds 2 kV isolation protection
Built-in 120-ohm termination resistors
IP30 plastic housing, 9 to 30 VDC input
DB9 or DB25 female, 0 to 55°C operation
