Den har 24 digitale indgange, 16 digitale udgange og 8 valgbare digitale ind- og udgange.
Derudover har den 4 analoge indgange og 2 analoge udgange samt en Pt100-indgang og indbygget 512 kB arbejdshukommelse, der kan udvides til 2 MB.
Den kan programmeres med Simatic Manager og TIA Portal.
