Mikrosterowniki PLC firmy VIPA posiadają 16 wejść cyfrowych (DI), 12 wyjść cyfrowych (DO), 2 wejścia analogowe (AI) (mA lub V) oraz 2 wyjścia PWM i można je rozbudować o dodatkowe 8 modułów we/wy. Dysponują wbudowaną pamięcią o pojemności 128 kB.
Mikro-PLC może komunikować się za pośrednictwem protokołów MPI, Profibus, Modbus RTU / TCP i jest przystosowany do pracy w sieci Profinet. Programowanie za pomocą oprogramowania SPEED7 Studio, Siemens SIMATIC Manager lub Siemens TIA Portal.
