With the solid-state bridge, internal diode paths ensure a natural discharge for back-EMF generated by motor loads during turn-off. This suppresses transients, and eliminates arcs, making solid-state reversers much superior to electromechanical reversers.<\/p>\n<p>DRV- Series reversers have a built-in interlock protection of ~200ms. This prevents both forward and reverse signal being engaged at the same time.
