The RK 1405M with particularly robust IP69k housing can be connected to all vehicles with 12 V or 24 V on-board power supply. This is particularly dust, dirt, rain and frost resistant. Thanks to its robust design, the camera meets the very high IP69K protection class for water and dust tightness and can also withstand cleaning with a high-pressure cleaner. A window heater is also installed for adverse weather conditions. Operation is possible at temperatures from -30 to +70 °C.
