Prior to final welding, the hermetic package is vacuum baked and filled with dry nitrogen.
\nThe inert, dry atmosphere eliminates moisture to prevent condensation at low temperatures, improves the thermostat's dielectric properties, and prevents oxidation of the contacts. <\/p>\n
The 11041 and M1 thermostats are the ideal choices for applications such as ice protection and air data sensors, heated drainage for aircraft, exhaust air temperature control, aircraft duct\/ventilation\/toilet heaters, satellite battery heat control, and satellite propulsion line temperature control.<\/p>\n
