Micro switch G3 for harsh environments
Petercem G3 is a hermetically sealed snap-action microswitch, specially designed for extreme environments where reliability is crucial. It is approved according to AIR 8459 and MIL-PRF-8805, among others, and offers a robust design with stainless steel, inert gas filling, and gold-plated silver contacts. The G3 series is available with several different actuator types and mounting options.
– Electrical capacity:
Resistive load: up to 5 A at 30 VDC, 2 A at 220 VAC
Inductive load: up to 1.5 A at 30 VDC, 1 A at 220 VAC
Min. breaking current: 5 mA
– Life: Up to 200,000 cycles at 30 VDC (100,000 at 220 VAC)
– Temperature range: –55 °C to +150 °C
– Contact material: Gold-plated silver contacts
– Protection: Hermetic encapsulation with inert gas; encapsulated according to military standard
– Shock/vibration: Withstands 100 g (6 ms), 50 g vibration in three axes
– Mounting: Several variants with threads or flanges, M2–M3 holes
– Connection: Solder connections or FEP-insulated conductors (0.38 mm²)
