The KLIXON\u00ae 11041 \/ M1 series of hermetically sealed half-inch thermostats (M24236\/1) is designed for exceptional vibration and shock resistance to provide reliable switching in the most demanding applications.<\/p>\n

Before final welding, the hermetic package is vacuum-baked and backfilled with dry nitrogen.
\nThe inert, dry atmosphere eliminates moisture to prevent condensation at low temperatures, improves the thermostat’s dielectric properties and prevents oxidation of the contacts.<\/p>\n

The 11041 and M1 thermostats are the ideal choices for applications such as ice protection and air data sensors, heated drains for aircraft, bleed air temperature control, duct\/ventilation\/lavatory heaters in aircraft, battery heating control in satellites and propulsion line temperature control in satellites.<\/p>\n
