SCN brings Danish KP Sensors’ condition monitoring to customers across Europe

Distribution agreement makes more than 90 KP Sensors products available in eight countries, with local engineering support

Solna, Sweden, 28 October 2026 – SCN has signed a European distribution agreement with the Danish sensor manufacturer Kjærulf Pedersen A/S. Industrial customers in eight countries now get local access to its KP Sensors range: sensors that warn before a motor, pump, wind turbine or refrigerated container fails.

An unplanned stop quickly becomes expensive, whether it hits a production line, a pumping station, a vessel or a railway carriage. KP Sensors’ devices analyse vibration, motion, inclination and humidity inside the sensor itself and send a warning as soon as something starts to deviate. That lets maintenance teams act before a breakdown rather than after it.

“Our customers build machines and installations that have to run for many years. They want to know that something is about to fail before it happens. KP Sensors makes that simple and robust, and now we can offer it all over Europe,” says Erik Ahlqvist, Managing Director of SCN.

“SCN is a strong partner for KP Sensors, with the technical expertise and local presence to help customers across Europe find the right monitoring solution. We look forward to working together to make reliable condition monitoring more accessible to businesses throughout the region,” says Johan Johannesen, Sales Manager at KP Sensors.

More than 90 KP Sensors products are now available from SCN: wireless and Modbus vibration sensors, motion and inclination sensors, humidity, CO₂ and O₂ sensors for refrigerated containers, temperature sensors and transmitters, and thermowells – with Modbus, Bluetooth or 4–20 mA outputs. SCN’s engineers help customers choose the right sensor, configure it before delivery and provide support from local offices.

Typical applications include electric motors, pumps, fans and compressors in industry, wind power and energy, ships and trains, structural monitoring of bridges, and refrigerated containers.
